Boro Noragi - Museum grade fisherman's jacket
Museum grade boro fisherman's noragi from the collection of a well respected Japanese textile archivist and collector in Kyoto, Japan.
Thousands of sashiko stitches reinforce this garment and give the proper outside a well worn, soft hand. The inside is an array of variegated indigo patches and shima cottons. Small loss to the front of the garment, however it does not distract from its overall desirability as a collector's piece. Rarely are pieces like this seen in the market. Not suitable for wear.
