An antique heavily worn, repaired and weathered, museum quality boro noragi.
In my experiences collecting boro, I have found that there are those that search for artfully constructed pieces that give off almost a modernist feel when looking at the arrangement of patchwork. Then there are those individuals that collect pieces that have experienced years of wear and hardship.
I myself have moved from one category of collection to the other, and then back again over the years. This is one of the finest examples from my collection of the later category - a piece that has seen heavy wear. It I am happy to be able to offer it here for the first time.
